Terms of service

These terms cover the Google Business Profile service macaws.ai provides to you. By signing up you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.

What we do

We look after your Google Business Profile: we score it, fill in what is missing, reply to reviews, publish posts, measure where you appear in local search, and report on all of it. You can see the work in your own login at any time.

Your profile is yours

• Your profile sits on your own Google account. You give us permission to manage it through Google's sign-in, and you can take that permission back at any time from your Google account.
• Only connect a Google account, and a business, that you are entitled to act for.
• We never delete a listing, and we do not change a business's name or address for you.

What goes on your profile

• Posts are published only once they have been approved.
• Replies to reviews are written and posted for you. A reply to a one or two star review is held for a person to read first.
• Changes to your profile's details are shown before they are made.
• Drafts are written with the help of AI and can be wrong. Tell us about anything that is, and we will put it right.

What you must not ask us to do

• Post anything false or misleading, or anything that breaks Google's policies for Business Profiles or reviews.
• Write, buy or arrange fake reviews. Reviews are left by your customers and nobody else.

Rankings and reports

Positions in local search depend on where the searcher is standing and on who else is nearby, and they change constantly. Our reports show what was seen at the time of each check. No one can promise a position in Google's results, and we do not.

Paying

• The service is a subscription, paid in advance, and it renews until cancelled.
• There is no setup fee and no minimum term. You can cancel at any time.
• We will tell you before a price changes.

Google

Your Google Business Profile is also subject to Google's own terms. Google may refuse an edit, restrict a profile or change how its service works, and when that happens we cannot override it. macaws.ai is not endorsed by or affiliated with Google.

Ending it

You may stop at any time. We may stop working on a profile that is being used to break Google's policies or these terms; where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first.
